Pack your cards safely

Well-packed cards arrive safely and are ready for PSA. Follow these steps — or let us handle it with the Shipping Kit.

   Gather your materials

   Per card you need: a soft sleeve (penny sleeve), a card saver (semi-rigid holder — not a toploader; PSA requires card savers), and for the shipment a sturdy bubble mailer or cardboard box. No supplies at hand? Add our Shipping Kit to your cart and we send everything incl. a prepaid tracked return label.

   Sleeve each card

   Slide every card into a soft sleeve. Do this with clean, dry hands and touch the card surface as little as possible. Dust or fingerprints can affect the grade.

   Insert into a card saver

   Slide the sleeved card into a card saver. Card savers keep the card stable in transit without pressing the corners — unlike toploaders, which PSA does not accept. Never force it; the card should fit smoothly.

   Bundle and secure

   Stack the card savers neatly. Wrap the stack in some paper or bubble wrap and secure it with an elastic band so nothing shifts. Sending several identical cards? Keep them physically together.

   Pack for shipping

   Place the bundle in a bubble mailer or box with some padding so there is no room to move. The packaging should absorb a drop or knock.

   Add your order number

   Include a note with your order number (and name) in the shipment so we can match your cards to your order right away. You’ll find the order number in your confirmation email and account.

7. 7

   Ship insured and tracked

   Ship to the address in your order confirmation. Use a tracked and insured method (or the prepaid label from the Shipping Kit). Keep your proof of postage until your cards are back.
