Shipping and Insurance Policy

1. Shipping to VDH Grading
Shipping from the customer to VDH Grading is at the customer’s risk. Ship your cards securely and with tracking, in card savers and soft sleeves, in a sturdy box with sufficient cushioning material. A “delivered” status does not automatically constitute proof that the complete, undamaged contents have been received.
2. Shipping to PSA
VDH Grading bundles submissions and ships them insured to PSA using the chosen or agreed method. Turnaround times are indicative and depend in part on PSA.
3. Return shipping to the customer
Graded cards are returned insured via track & trace or can be collected by appointment. An incorrectly provided return address or failure to collect may incur additional costs.
4. Insurance and declared value
- Insurance applies only if expressly chosen, confirmed and paid for.
- The insured value is never higher than the declared value provided or the amount paid out by the insurer/carrier.
- The customer is responsible for a correct declared value; a value that is too low limits the cover.
- For cards above €500 per card: determine in advance whether additional insurance is required. Above €1,000 per card: contact us in writing in advance.
5. Reporting damage or loss
Report complaints about a return shipment within 48 hours of receipt, with photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, shipping label, damage and contents. Late reporting may affect the handling of the claim.
